Nokia N70

Adele got her biennial cellphone upgrade a few days ago. The new phone is a Nokia N70 smartphone.

We have played with it a bit and so far my impressions is that it is very nice phone. It seems that Nokia is catching up again with their N and E series phones.

At this point the only problem is that the phone is a bit slow. While the slight delays doesn't bother Adele that much, it will certainly irritate those who just can't wait.

For me the coolest thing is that Nokia makes development tools available, for free, for the S60 phones. The tools are available for C/C++ and Java. There is also a version of Python available for the S60 phones.

You can also upgrade the Symbian based phones online. No need to take your phone in to the service providers.
